“Tax Update” 

David Supelak is a CPA and Master of Taxation.  He serves as senior tax manager with Schlabig & Associates, Ltd. and has been with the firm since 2002.  Dave provides extensive strategic tax planning, specialized corporate tax and business advisory services, compliance and research, and representation for companies and individuals in actions before the IRS and other governmental agencies.   

Dave serves on several boards and councils in the region, including the Akron Tax and Estate Planning Council (where he is President), and Greater Akron Chamber Small Business Council and Government Affairs.  He is a member of the AICPA, the Ohio Society of CPAs, Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce, Akron Tax Club, and Greater Akron Musical Association.  He also serves on the board of the Copley-Fairlawn Schools Foundation. 

Dave also is very active in presenting at seminars and speaking on topics such as tax legislation.  He is currently partnering with The University of Akron in the development of articles for a variety of publications.   

Dave is a graduate of The University of Akron and resides in Copley.
